Steve is passionate about elegant intelligent products that can improve many lives. Steve has been a founder and CEO of six companies. Of these, 4 were acquired and one had a successful IPO. Currently Steve serves as cofounder and CEO of Actuate Health. The company develops and markets disruptively innovative technologies in the fields of biosensors and digital health.

As Covalency Managing Partner, Rob is passionate about solving complex business problems through the Context Rules methodology which he has honed over his 35 years of experience in technology start-ups. Rob has worked as a long-term fractional C-level co-founder, board member, executive, investor, and CFO in dozens of entrepreneurial companies resulting in many successful liquidity events. As a Covalency Navigator, Brent applies his 20 years of experience developing strategies that improve organizational performance and drive large scale change. With a collaborative, servant-leadership approach to getting the right work done, he excels at bringing innovative solutions to each business problem he encounters, be it through people, process or technology. Brent started as an IT developer and systems integrator of CRM systems with PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM, where he worked in Silicon Valley and Europe, with several stops in between. In his 15 years with Kaiser Permanente, he led efforts ranging from implementing an electronic medical record and telehealth patient/physician connection solution, to managing the Colorado region’s market expansion and service improvement strategies. Brent managed the P&L of health plan and care delivery operations of a $700M division serving 110,000 covered lives.

Morgan Honea serves as the CEO of the Colorado Regional Health Information Organization (CORHIO). Under his leadership, CORHIO has grown at its fastest pace since inception - exchanging health information between 66 hospitals, 5,300+ providers, and over 1,800 organizations. He has also expanded the organization’s partnership with the State of Colorado as well as numerous payers and ACO’s to advance the Triple Aim in Colorado. Honea serves in a governance capacity for multiple organizations and as the representative for health information exchange on the Governor’s Commission for eHealth Innovation.

Colton Crandell is a product designer, inventor, business owner, and professional musician who has a passion for creating, developing, and testing until failure. He currently holds the position of Executive Engineer with Actuate Health where he builds devices targeted at identifying and treating respiratory illness. In his free time, Colton enjoys performing music professionally. Colton graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Music in trumpet performance. He has played for audiences of over 14,000 and currently holds positions in the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra as well as Principle Solo Cornet with the Colorado Brass. In 2011, he was chosen as a finalist for the National Trumpet Competition – one of six in the nation.
